Music is everything

Over the past few years, it seems that people take music for granted… Professional musicians’ talent is seldom recognised. At the same time, as for the school curriculum, musical training is the first subject to be withdrawn! However, it is short-sighted to cut the study of music in schools or not taking it as seriously as we should, given its proven positive effects.

So, why do we need music in our daily lives and more specifically in our schools? Well, it is not only about the mind development or the pleasure of listening a quartet. We should appreciate it just because it exists. Music is everything!It is science, math, history, physical education, a foreign language.Jingles and notes are ART!

We can transform boring notes on a page into an emotion. One can hear a melody and feel the beat.

A single song can unite humans. It is an international language that everyone can relate to. Everyone comprehends it. The most suprising fact about it, is that brings everything together just like every form of art. It spreads ideas and opinions.

If we do the greatest form of art away, who knows what the world would be like…
